Submission guidelines

Updated information

  • Provide Topology or RA Diagrams:  Due to an overwhelming response to the contest, our governance council (Dell Corporate Reference Account owner + Heroes Technical Leadership) needs to see "before" and "after" topology diagrams and reference architectures to clearly depict the dramatic transformation your customers underwent with your technical guidance and leadership.
  • Provide Dell EMC Sales Order Number: The goal is to highlight referenceable wins that YOU led, leveraging the Dell solutions [+Strategically Aligned Businesses] and your value-add as a Solution Provider. We want to focus on opportunities that are won, deployed, and the customer is happy with the Dell-based solution. Please provide the Dell EMC Sales Order number associated with your Use Case submission.

Send in a summary of your use case, using 100-300 words. Please include this information:>

  2. Are you authorized to identify your customer? If yes, please provide the customer name and their customer.
  3. What did your team do to translate the business needs into an IT solution?
  4. What system or solution did you implement with your customer (i.e., edge computing, VDI, automation/orchestration, etc.)?
  5. Was there something unique about your proposed configuration that caused your customer to select your firm for this project? Tell us about it.
  6. What impact did this IT solution have on the customer’s ability to meet its business or societal goals? How are people being impacted positively because of the solution?
  7. How long was the sales cycle? When (month and year) was the implementation completed, and acceptance criteria met?
  8. Did you leverage any of the Dell EMC Incentives (i.e., “Get Modern” “Storage 1-2-3” or “Storage Loyalty”) to quote and win this deal?
  9. Does this clearly tie to the Four Transformation Areas of DellEMC (Digital, IT, Workforce, Security)? If so, how?
  10. Does this deal include Dell Technologies Strategically Aligned Businesses (VMware, Pivotal, RSA, SecureWorks, Virtustream)?
