Registration Bursaries

The objective of the Magnetic Resonance Society of Ireland is to promote knowledge and understanding of magnetic resonance in the Island of Ireland. The Society will promote developing new ideas and networking with other related societies in Ireland and abroad. In association with the ICMRBS organisation, society seeks to award number of registration bursaries for postgraduate students to participate the ICMRBS 2018 conference at the University College Dublin. These generous bursaries are partly funded by the support of the Science Foundation Ireland.
Guidelines for the registration bursaries are as follows:

1. Students must be in their 1-4 year period of their study.
2. Applications are open to students from the Island of Ireland only.
3. Applications are open to students from any Irish third level institution or Research Institute.
4. Applicants are expected to present an oral or a poster presentation.
5. Abstract outlining the proposed content of the presentation and up to date CV (2 page max) should accompany the application.
6. Applicant should arrange a recommendation letter from the principal research supervisor to confirm the applicant’s intention to attend and present at the ICMRBS conference.
7. The application deadline is 1st April 2018 and the decision will be informed by 1st May 2018.
