Do you love unusual rings with gemstones? Join us for a ring workshop where the rings fit everyone! In this workshop we'll work with PMC 960 sterling metal clay, sterling sheet, tube bezels, bezel cups, and faceted semi-precious stones to create two different types of wrap rings that you can size up or down. This workshop will introduce you to the metal clay, soldering, and setting skills you'll need to create dozens of other projects. Even advanced students will have fun, and pick up a few new tricks! You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Basic soldering skills required, but expert skills not necessary!

Materials you are required to bring: Students do not need to bring their own tools, all tools needed will be available for use. Students who already own the following tools, may choose to bring them along: Metal clay tools and texture plates, metal shears, rawhide, nylon or plastic hammer, misc. texturing hammers, bench block
misc. files and sanding papers, ring mandrel, prong pusher, nylon ring bending pliers

PMC 960 Sterling Silver is an exciting medium that allows you to produce quality, detailed designs in sterling silver without the mess or equipment required for traditional jewelry casting. You will love the ability to create personalized, one-of-a-kind jewelry quickly and easily! In this workshop we'll create gorgeous dangling earrings with great designs and beautiful bezel set semi-precious stones. This is an introductory workshop, so no experience is required! Once you get started, you'll love this rewarding medium! You WILL complete this project in class.

The reversible box pendant is two necklaces in one. Just flip and you've got a completely different design with a different colored stone to wear! In this workshop we'll create an exciting, sophisticated, two-sided reversible hollow box focal pendant with 2 different colored stones that you can wear alone on a chain, or add to your favorite beaded designs. In just one day we'll create an enviable heirloom quality sterling silver pendant that works with any style. This is a next level workshop, so some metal clay experience is required! Join us for an exciting day of glass and sterling silver metal clay fun! First, we'll close from a selection of unusual and beautiful glass jewelry focal pieces, and then we'll create our own sterling silver metal clay "jackets" to match those pieces! Second, we'll put it all together by drilling holes in our glass and metal pieces and then combining them using riveting techniques. Our pendants will have a unique design on both sides making it a truly reversible piece of art jewelry! This fully packed workshop is for glass fusers or metal clay workers who want to learn more exciting specialty art-jewelry projects. You WILL complete this project in class.
