Learn how to make two layers of cloth on one warp! We will explore the principles behind creating doubleweave cloth, and learn how to draft and design doubleweave. Weave a sample in class that will include two separate layers of cloth, double-width cloth, weaving tubes, and pick-up double weave. We will warp the looms in class. Students are invited to a Thursday evening Open Studio to work on the first day's lesson; see 1028, Weaving Studio.
