Overview

Kaiser Permanente International is a self-supporting educational subsidiary that shares the knowledge and experience of Kaiser Permanente with governments, health plans, health care providers, and other organizations that are striving to improve their health care systems. Since 2004, global health care leaders from more than 50 countries have participated in KP International’s educational programs.

Learnings from the Kaiser Permanente Model (LKPM) is a three-day interactive program that covers a range of topics, including Kaiser Permanente’s integrated care delivery system, physician accountability, digital health and information technology, transparency in quality reporting, patient perspectives, total health, and population care management. LKPM participants should have at least a high intermediate level of English, as the program is conducted in English with no interpretation service provided.

Program Cost

The registration fee for the three-day program is US $4,000 per person, which includes most meals. Hotels and airport transportation are not included. Please reserve your own hotel room and take a taxi or shuttle service to and from the airport. After you register, we will send you suggestions for a hotel and for ground transportation from San Francisco or Oakland International Airport.

Group discount: If there are 5 or more people in your group who share a single point of contact, you’ll qualify for a reduced program fee of US $3,600 per person. The group leader should email christine.e.aguilar@kp.org and request the group discount code. Please enter this code in the payment section below. When your registration is processed, your credit card charge or invoice will reflect the discount.

Payment

Payment may be made by credit card, check, or wire transfer. If you choose wire transfer, an invoice with banking details will be sent. The invoice is payable within 30 days and prior to the start of the program. If you have billing questions, please email christine.e.aguilar@kp.org.

We process registrations in the order they are received. Your registration is not considered complete until we receive payment in full. We are expecting a maximum of 30 participants, and regrettably, we cannot “save places” for tentative or incomplete registrations. We appreciate your understanding.
