It’s our great pleasure to invite you to attend the “Seminar on 3D Printing for Surgical Planning,” brought to us by Materialise, one of the world’s leading medical imaging software companies, in association with Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) and Khalifa University. The event will be held on 16th November, 2017 at Khalifa University of Science & Technology Main Auditorium.  

This event will present a comprehensive discussion of potential applications of 3D printing in the assistance of surgical planning and the development of personalized prostheses. 3D printing in healthcare can provide many benefits including customization and personalization of medical products, drugs, and equipment, cost-effectiveness, increased productivity, tissue and organ fabrication; creation of customized prosthetics, implants, and anatomical models. 

It is designed to provide a high level and clinically relevant updates with the goal of allowing our medical professionals to access the advanced multi-material 3D printing technology that offers exciting opportunities for learning in planning a complex surgery.
