2017 ACBSP Global Conference and Accreditation Forum
 

Our fifth Global Conference and Accreditation Forum is in the works. The theme for this year's conference is Global Collaboration: Reducing the Distance Through Innovation. This works along side of preparing students for international success through innovative collaborative solutions. 

The theme for the ACBSP Global Conference and Accreditation Forum 2017 is focused on preparing our students for new forms of global business management - virtual/multi-forms, with active ongoing global collaborations. The requirement for international experience has substantially expanded over the last decade. Most businesses are now actually or virtually global through their e-commerce presence. More businesses of all sizes, whether domestic or international, are now operating with team members located all over the world, collaborating virtually thanks to new digital tools. This new paradigm means that not only will all business students need to understand global business, they will also need to do it more directly & concretely - while experiencing first-hand the international collaboration requirements.

This year, we will be offering two registration options for the conference. 

OPTION ONE:

Registration for the Accreditation Forum: (Wednesday, November 8 – Saturday, November 11)
The Accreditation Forum is an intensive three-day training forum which will cover the standards and criteria in detail with presentations by ACBSP accreditation staff and ACBSP members with accredited business programs who have developed best practices for each standard. Schools interested in pursuing candidacy, in candidacy, or seeking reaffirmation of accreditation will also be provided with in-class time to a specific criterion within each standard using the online reporting.

OPTION TWO:

Registration for the 2017 Global Conference: (Thursday, November 9 – Saturday, November 11)
The theme for this year’s ACBSP Global Conference is “Global Collaboration: Reducing the Distance Through Innovation.” The theme focuses on preparing students for international success through innovative collaborative solutions and new forms of global business management- virtual/multi-forms.
