1+1+1+1=10??? Yup! In this fast paced class you will learn how to multiply your skills from 4 simple ingredients. Using 4 materials you will learn to create TEN different chain links while learning to solder silver. We will discuss all the basics and safety, then you will get hands on experience in torching and soldering silver and jump rings. Although you do not need any experience some wire work is helpful. You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Basic silver soldering and wire working

Materials you are required to bring: Round nose pliers, Chain nose pliers, Flat nose pliers, Flush side cutters (ultra preferred), Magnifying glasses and Ott light as needed

Are you ready to move on from copper enameling? Silver here we come! In this class we will use fine sheet to allow transparent enamels colors to shine and show off the brilliance of silver. This technique will add new life to your enamel work. Students will have the opportunity to put their own flare to each piece.You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: None

Materials you are required to bring: Chain nose pliers, goldsmith hammer, #2 paint brush (fine tip), 5 pages of any magazine, wood forming block with groves or sand bench pillow, flat nose pliers, magnifying glasses and Ott light as needed.

Create a contemporary bezel ring with sterling silver and Swarovski crystal. In this class you will learn how to create this unique bezel; retrofit a stone to fit the bezel, seat a bezel to fit the stone and finishing techniques. Most students will finish the project.You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Must have working knowledge of silver soldering

Materials you are required to bring: Magnifying glasses (MUST),table vice , metal stamp of choice, hammer (8oz or heavier), flat nose pliers, round nose pliers, chain-nose pliers, Super Grip gloves, Bezel Rocker and curved Burnisher.

Learn enameling and cold connections in one class. You will learn to torch fire enamel on copper and use transparent enamels on silver to create true colors. After firing all the pieces you will rivet the pieces together. Students will finish at least one pendant. You WILL complete this project in class.

Tired of the same old thing? Take a turn in your silver to create this classic yet modern pendant. You will learn the secret to transforming sterling silver sheet into a graceful moving form. In this class you will refine your sawing, soldering and finishing skills. Students should have some soldering and sawing skills. (Students will complete the pendant however; some will want to refine the pendant at home.)You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Must know how to silver solder and have some sawing knowledge

Materials you are required to bring: Bench pin, chain nose pliers, needle file set (fine cut), nylon nose pliers, magnifying glasses and Ott light as needed.

Create nature inspired pieces for one-of-a-kind pendants, rings, earrings and more. This free form technique is fun, easy and fool proof; no piece could ever be wrong. In addition to completing the pendant shown, students will have the opportunity to make several pieces that may be used after the class. Students will finish the project in class. You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Some knowledge of basic soldering helpful

Materials you are required to bring: Side cutters (flush preferred), chain-nose pliers, flat nose pliers, additional Sterling Silver or Fine Silver scrap (optional), magnifying glasses and Ott light as needed.
