2018 HIMSS & IHE Interoperability Workshop

Join leaders from SeHe (Saudi eHealth exchange), HIMSS and IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) in this day long interoperability workshop. The goal of interoperability is to ensure that the right people have the right access to the right health information at the right time. Gain actionable knowledge to solve your interoperability questions and challenges as SeHe, the Saudi eHealth Exchange is being deployed.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of the Interoperability Workshop, participants will receive a Certificate of completion that they have met the following learning objectives:

  • Understand how standards and their consistent implementation are enabling true foundational semantic interoperability; ensuring that the right people have the right access to the right health information at the right time.
  • Explore the value of global standards, profiles and interoperability specifications and their applicability to regional specific needs to support the use cases prioritized for the Kingdom.
  • Describe the roadmap and partnerships that are advancing interoperability for Saudi Arabia.

Who is this for:

This training is meant for healthcare IT personnel and vendors. A working knowledge and familiarity with EMRs and Clinical IT systems as well as commonly used interoperability standards in healthcare such as HL7 and DICOM is strongly recommended.
