Monday 26 & Tuesday 27 June 2017

Novotel London West, Hammersmith

Sponsored by NCFE for the first time, this year’s conference will take place less than two months after the start of the Apprenticeship levy and shortly after the recently announced General Election.

Delegates will hear from the government, employers and providers how the reforms are bedding in, in respect of both funding and standards. Apprenticeships will be the hot topic but the scale of reform throughout the employment and skills sector is so large that other important issues will be debated too. Growing Traineeships will be one while maximising the education and employment opportunities from the prison reform white paper will be another. The Work and Health Programme will also be up for discussion and we may ascertain how far English devolution is moving ahead.

This year’s themes are:

  • The Future for Providers and Apprenticeships
  • Technical and Professional Education
  • English Devolution and the Work Programme
  • Ensuring Quality across all Programmes
  • Traineeships and Transition
  • Apprenticeships – Standards and Assessment

As usual, we will have a top line-up of plenary speakers and an excellent range of workshop presentations. The popular exhibitor space is always sold out where you can find the latest supporting technologies and other services which help make your organisation and programme delivery more efficient.

Full AELP Members are entitled to one free place for both days. Full Members taking advantage of their complimentary place may choose to book a different delegate for the second day. This has been incorporated into the booking journey.
