Globalism vs. Nationalism: A New World in Flux

The administration in the U.S. is taking a new look at existing bilateral and multilateral trade agreements. It has vowed to renegotiate and even cancel some existing agreements that are not perceived as favorable to the U.S. Please join us for an in-depth discussion on relations between the U.S. and Latin America; the principal goals pursued by the U.S. and how the mindset of “Putting America First” will affect the relationship with our neighbors to the North and South; and current obstacles and opportunities existing in Latin America. This year’s Summit will feature panelists throughout Latin America to provide in-depth commentary on several countries in flux, including Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Panama, and Venezuela.
