Mccarran International Airport

Located approximately 5 miles south of Downtown Las Vegas, the McCarran International Airport is the 6th busiest airport in the United States and offers frequent flights all around the country. Not only is it conveniently located, with Las Vegas being the gambling capital of the US, there are 1,300 slot machines through the airport.

Ground Transportation

Please arrange your own transportation to and from the airport. We suggest allowing 20-35 minutes from your hotel to the airport. Please see below for recommended transportation options and approximate costs:

  • Bus: Take the Westcliff Airport Express for a quick ride into Downtown Las Vegas in about 40 minutes or less. The $2 fare takes you between the airport and Downtown every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour. For more information, click here to visit their website

  • Super Shuttle: Super Shuttle is an economical way to get from the airport to Downtown Las Vegas. While en route, your shuttle will make multiple stops at locations along the way. Advanced reservations and pre-payment for your ride take the time and hassle out of getting to and from the airport. Click here to make a reservation

One-way fares between the Las Vegas Airport and Downtown Las Vegas are approximately $11 per person

  • Taxi: Fares to and from the airport range from approximately $15 to $20 depending on traffic. All taxis have a 5 passenger maximum, including infants and children. As some taxis do not accept credit card payments, all passengers should notify the driver if they plan on using a credit card.

  • Uber: Request, ride, and pay via your mobile phone - all you need to do is download the app to your smartphone. When you request a ride, Uber will find a driver, let you track their location on the map, and will text you when your ride arrives. Your driver’s name and car details appear in the app, and you can message or call if needed. Once you arrive at your destination, the fare is automatically charged to your credit card on file – no need to tip. Uber will also e-mail you a receipt. Estimated fares to and from the airport vary depending on the Uber vehicle type you select:

    • UberX (compact, cost-effective): $11 - $13
    • UberXL (SUV/Van, larger groups): $17 - $21
    • UberSELECT (town car/premium vehicle): $21 - $26
