In this workshop you will be finishing one pair of hammered paddle earrings. You will be learning to create paddle pins using simple tricks to ensure a good paddle and how to file it correctly, and texturing using a chasing hammer. You will need to know basic wire wrapping such as making loops, using a chasing hammer, texturing,using a bench block and basic filing. This design is simple and elegant, can be created again and again using many of the techniques mentioned above as well as incorporating these techniques into various designs. The possibilities are endless. You WILL  complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Must know how to make basic loops using heavy gauge wire, how to use a chasing hammer, bench block, and small files

Materials you are required to bring: Chasing hammer, bench block, cutting pliers, round nose pliers/looping tool, flat nose pliers, bent nose pliers

Fundamentals, skills, and techniques covered:
• Forming a Bracelet using wire
  • Wire wrapping embellishments onto a base
  • Using fabric in a design

This class will teach you how to create a boho-inspired cuff bracelet using 14-gauge copper wire, fabric, and bead embellishments that are wire wrapped onto the design. This is an 8-step instructive process that teaches you techniques such as wire wrapping, hammering, and forming a design.You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Must know how to use basic tool such as chasing hammer, pliers, and using a bench block. Must know basic wire skills

Materials you are required to bring: Pliers- round, flat, bent, or a looper tool. Chasing hammer, & a bench block

In this class we will be making a fall theme mixed media necklace, you will complete this project in class. We will be using artisan ceramic components, wire, beads, and fabric. Step out of your comfort zone, away from uniform designs, and into the wonderful world of asymmetrical mixed media.You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Basic wire wrapping skills, how to make a loop, using tools such as pliers, files, mandrels.

Materials you are required to bring: Round nose pliers or looping tool, cutters, flat nose pliers, bent nose pliers

• Learning to host an online show
  • How to advertise for an online show
  • How to create a selling post for a show

In this workshop I will speak to you on how to sell your items in an online Facebook auction group, either during a show hosted by you, or just a single listing. I have years of experience as an auction group administrator, mentor, and host. I will teach you how to look for an auction group that suits your jewelry style, how to host a show and draw an audience, how to connect with customers and sell your jewelry, how to keep your customers engaged during your show, how to write a sale listing, how to write your introduction post, and how to contact your customers and end your show, collect payments, send invoices etc. You WILL NOT complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: None

Materials you are required to bring: Any questions you may have regarding selling in an online Facebook auction group!!

What's The Catch? Is a mixed media necklace class, we will be learning to wire wrap, use mixed media components such as wire, ceramic, metal, polymer clay, and silk. We will be creating a fun, bold, colorful design. This will be an asymmetrical design, so for all of you who usually put things in exact order be prepared to take a giant leap. We will be using ceramic fish pieces made by Firefly Design Studio... There is a hook, line, and sinker portion to What's The Catch!! You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Using Wire cutters, and pliers, handling materials, an open mind, and having fun!!

Materials you are required to bring: Round nose pliers or looper tool, flat nose pliers, bent nose pliers, flush cutters
