Dr. André ASSAF received his undergraduate degree in Dentistry (B.D.S) in 1979 from Cairo University, Egypt. He obtained his certificates in Prosthodontics, Dental Materials, Implantology and TMD Management from Paris Universities between 1987 and 1994.

Dr. ASSAF co-founded the School of Dentistry in the Lebanese University in 1985, and the Faculty of Dentistry in the Beirut Arab University in 1987. He was appointed Head of the Fixed Prosthodontics Division between 1997 till 2000, and is Head of the Biomaterials and Technology Unit since 2014 till present.

In 2006, Dr. ASSAF was the co-director of the 300-hours Maxi-Course of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry provided at the Jordanian University of Science and Technology (Irbid Jordan).

Dr. ASSAF is the co-founder and Former President of the Lebanese Society of Prosthodontics for 6 consecutive years till April 2016. He lectures extensively nationally and internationally. The topics of specialty are Cosmetic Dentistry, Implantology and Temporomandibular Disorders, Occlusion and Occlusal Discrepancies.
