Mark Monday

Vice President & General Manager

Team Engagement Platforms

Avaya

As Vice President & General Manager for Avaya’s Team Engagement Platforms, Mark Monday’s organization leads the product development, direction, lifecycle, pricing, positioning and promotion for the company’s collaboration platforms. This includes Avaya Aura core products such as Communication Manager, System Manager, Session Manager and Presence, Session Border Controllers, the CS1K product lines, IP Office, the phones/endpoints, and the PodFX platform. As part of this effort, Monday ensures that the Avaya portfolio delivers targeted products and solutions for key routes to market, including Value Added Resellers, Service Providers and Enterprise customers around the world.

Mark’s teams sets and defines the strategy of the product lines by communicating with customers, business partners, and Avaya sales teams to create new and manage existing products. The team is also helping set the direction for cloud based and hosted services for collaboration. Mark also manages the Konftel sales, market and product development operation.

Before coming to Avaya in December 2011, Mark spent 15 years at Cisco Systems where his last position was Vice President and General Manager for Small Business Technology Group (SBTG),

Monday joined Avaya in December 2011.

Monday holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Management from Ohio State University.


Morag Lucey

Chief Marketing Officer

Morag Lucey is Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and a member of the executive council at Avaya. In her role, Morag leads the Global Marketing team and is responsible for a variety of marketing disciplines, including distribution channel management, marketing communications, branding, and articulating the customer experience to drive increased demand for Avaya solutions worldwide.

Morag's career spans 30 years in marketing, sales and general management in the technology and telecommunications space. A distinguished leader with a proven history of increasing brand impact, Morag has held top marketing positions with a variety of companies, including BAE Systems, Convergys and SAP. She also has extensive experience leading product management and strategy and M&A functions in prior roles.

Morag returned to Avaya in October 2015. She held previous positions with the company from 2002 through 2007, including Vice President of EMEA Marketing and, before that, Vice President of Global Marketing and Channel Management for small and midmarket business solutions. Prior to rejoining Avaya, Morag was CEO of Virtual CMO Limited, a marketing consulting firm focused on generating short term profitability and long term stability.

Morag spends her free time mountain biking, running, sailing and golfing. In addition to enjoying the outdoors, she and her husband and their two grown children enthusiastically seek action-packed adventures.




Jean Turgeon (JT)

VP & Chief Technologist, Software Defined Architecture, Worldwide Sales

Jean Turgeon (JT) is Vice President and Chief Technologist of Software Defined Architecture at Avaya. In this role, Turgeon is responsible for driving and delivering the strategy for Software Defined Architecture and accelerating adoption of Smart Digital Solutions for both the Enterprise and Midmarket. He also leads IoT and Public Safety initiatives with his global team of solutions architect specialists.

Prior to joining Avaya, JT was most recently a General Manager for the Networking Business Unit at Nortel. He played a pivotal role in integrating the Nortel Networking business, team and products into the Avaya portfolio while executing flawlessly on a transformation to deliver an end to end virtualized architecture. And previous to then, JT held numerous leadership roles at Nortel and Bay Networks within the Research & Development, CTO Office, Support and Professional Services, Training and Technical Marketing organizations.

JT also received an Executive MBA from Ottawa University and a degree in Electronics from the Institut.



Yogen Patel

VP & GM for Engagement Applications at Avaya

Yogen Patel is the VP & GM for Engagement Applications at Avaya. Yogen is responsible for leading the strategy and roadmap, and driving profitable revenue for both the Customer Engagement Application and Team Engagement Application product portfolios.

Yogen is a seasoned executive with over 18 years of leadership and hands-on experience in bringing innovative products to market and successfully propelling business growth. Prior to Avaya, Yogen held a leadership role at Amdocs focusing on the strategy and product management for Amdocs’ Business Support Systems portfolio, as well as leading and building relationships with global service providers. Yogen’s past experience includes senior leadership positions within product management, product marketing and R&D at a number of leading technology companies in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Yogen holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics from Queen’s University, Canada, an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Boston University, and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.



Jerry Glembocki

Senior Vice President, Quality Program Office

Jerry Glembocki is senior vice president of Quality Program Office for Avaya, a global provider of business collaboration and communications solutions. In this role, Glembocki is responsible for driving enterprise-wide initiatives and programs to systematically ensure product and service quality and drive current state improvements.

Glembocki joined Avaya in November 2011 from Solexant, a startup in the solar panel industry, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior VP of Engineering. While there, he put some of the key systems in place to allow Solexant to achieve manufacturing scale. Some of his accomplishments at Solexant include: initiating a reliability program, improving yields and initiating a system for product transfer from R&D into pilot production.

Prior to Solexant, Glembocki was Senior VP of Recording Heads & Disks at Seagate Technology. He advanced Seagate's core technology and positioned Seagate as a clear technology leader in hard drives. Glembocki was responsible for research, development, manufacturing and quality of recording heads and disks and he also owned the integration of these components into Seagate products.




Danny Gunter

Vice President & General Manager for Avaya Managed and Cloud Services

His role consists of leading comprehensive client engagement and global delivery across multi-vendor environments, private, hybrid, and hosted cloud solutions. 

Danny's executive career has spanned 4 industries including Medical Products, Automotive Manufacturing, Commercial Finance, and over the past 11 years with Avaya leading teams in Sales, Services and Corporate Quality. Prior to his current role, Danny has held several cross functional roles within Avaya: Vice President - Sales, Vice President - Critical Accounts Program (CAP), and Director of Technical Readiness and Serviceability. 




Gary Levy

US Channel Sales Vice President

Gary brings over 20 years of experience as a successful named and national account manager in New York. As Northeast Area Channel Leader, he pioneered the Avaya Partner University series, which is now Avaya Partner Experience Day, a series of globally held partner engagement events. In a prior role, as East Area Channel Leader, he strengthened partner and Channel Account Manager relationships, delivering growth in both contact center and networking of over 15%. In his new role, he will be responsible for fostering relationships, aligning and driving growth with our US partner ecosystem. Gary brings a relentless focus and energy to deliver results, through strategic selling, and commitment to customers and partners.
