The senior living industry is changing rapidly. As seniors age, their everyday and healthcare needs alter. Often they find themselves having to be relocated from an independent living community to an assisted living community and then to a memory care facility. Most seniors prefer to age in their homes instead of moving. Hence continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) can cater to those who don't want to worry about having to move from one senior community to another as their needs change. In this session, we will explore the changing demographics, demands, and finances of the this target market and what it means for the future of CCRCs developments and projects.
