The students you teach today could be the Mars explorers of tomorrow. NASA has been on the forefront of exploring Mars and paving the way for future human exploration. This hands-on workshop will guide you on an investigation of Mars using Earth and Mars comparisons, modeling and engineering design.  This workshop will also integrate NASA online resources and STEM classroom activities, including those from NASA’s “Modern Figures” campaign.  “Modern Figures” activities highlight the contributions the African American women “human computers” made, as seen in the new movie “Hidden Figures”. The Journey to Mars begins in your classroom.

Online pre-registration is required to participate.

Registration will be limited to the first 30 educators.

Registration will close January 22, 2017 (or, when 30 educators are registered).

CEU's/CLU's will be provided for 5.0 hours of attendance.
