Operationalising Higher Education Quality
 

An impressive line-up of speakers will tackle some of the most topical issues challenging the higher education sector at a UA Satellite event hosted by Higher Ed Services (HES).

Operationalising Higher Education Quality is the theme of the HES symposium which will be held from 8.30am until 12.45pm on Friday 3 March at the National Convention Centre in Canberra.

Professor Andrew Vann, Vice-Chancellor of Charles Sturt and HES Board member will launch the symposium which will also feature presentations on professional accreditation; peer review of assessment and accreditation; creating a national framework for student partnership in university decision-making and governance; and attrition and ATARs.

Confirmed presenters include Professions Australia CEO, Liz Lang and Honorary Treasurer and Board member, Klaus Veil, Emeritus Professor Christine Ewan, Dr Sara Booth, University of Tasmania, and Ittima Cherastidtham from the Grattan Institute. Other presenters will be confirmed soon and the full program will be available in early February on the HES website.
