Some Legal Consequences Of The Modern Family

Some Legal Consequences of the Modern Family
Over the past 20 years there have been many changes in the way families are formed and constituted. Today the modern family has many guises which form a myriad of legal issues.

This seminar will look in detail at the following:

  • Cohabitation
  • Prenuptial agreements
  • Civil Partnership Act 2004
  • Adoption
  • Unmarried fathers
  • Other carers

The purpose of this online seminar is to explore some of the legal issues and offer solutions and advice to some of the issues they raise and to pre-empt some of the issues that may arise.

The presenter of this seminar is Karen Jack, a senior associate at Lindsays, who has been accredited as a specialist in child and family law. She has practised in this area for over 20 years. Karen is also a Curator and Bar Reporter.
