Create nature inspired pieces for one-of-a-kind pendants, rings, earrings and more. This free form technique is fun, easy and fool proof; no piece could ever be wrong. In addition to completing the pendant shown, students will have the opportunity to make several pieces that may be used after the class. Students will finish the project in class. You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: None

Materials you are required to bring: Side cutters (flush preferred), chain nose pliers, flat nose pliers, Additional Sterling Silver or Fine Silver scrap (optional), Magnifying glasses and Ott light as needed

1+1+1+1=10??? Yup! In this fast paced class you will learn how to multiply your skills from 4 simple ingredients. Using 4 materials you will learn to create TEN different chain links while learning to solder silver. We will discuss all the basics and safety, and then you will get hands on experience in torching and soldering silver and jump rings. Although you do not need any experience some wire work is helpful. You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: None

Materials you are required to bring: Magnifying glasses and Ott light as needed, round nose pliers, chain nose pliers, flat nose pliers, flush side cutters (ultra preferred)

Learn to drill stones using a rotary tool. In this class we will discuss the right tools, bits and all the right supplies you will need to make Hole-y Rocks of your own. You WILL complete this project in class.

Fundamentals, skills, and techniques covered:
• Prepare metal for torch fired enameling
  • Properly torch fire enamel
  • Series of steps learn to create a design with separation enamel

Take enamels to new heights with separation enamel. Through a series of layers and firing students will learn to transform copper and transparent enamels. (A variety of enamel colors will be provided to share.) You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: None

Materials you are required to bring: Chain nose pliers, 5 magazine pages of any kind, c. #2 paint brush (detail brush), magnifying glasses and Ott light as needed

Create this contemporary pendant using sterling silver and copper. We will build from the beginning starting with stock material. Along we will reinforce all the basics to metal work; shaping, forming, soldering and sawing. You WILL complete this project in class.

Tired of the same old thing? Take a turn in your silver to create this classic yet modern pendant. You will learn the secret to transforming sterling silver sheet into a graceful moving form. In this class you will refine your sawing, soldering and finishing skills. Students should have some soldering and sawing skills. (Students will complete the pendant however, some will want to refine the pendant at home.) You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Must know how to silver solder and have some sawing knowledge

Materials you are required to bring: Bench pin, chain nose pliers, needle file set (fine cut), nylon nose pliers, magnifying glasses and Ott light as needed

Learn enameling and cold connections in one class. You will learn to torch fire enamel on copper and use transparent enamels on silver to create true colors. After firing all the pieces you will rivet the pieces together. Students will finish at least one pendant.You WILL complete this project in class.
