2020 Orthopaedic Symposium
 

Learning Objectives






At the conclusion of the symposium, the participants should be able to:

  • Include at least 1 of the 8 practices of highly successful surgeon in personal and clinical practice
    (including Passion for Performance Improvement, Reciprocity of Roles and Relationships, Attitude Resilience, Communication with Mutual Understanding, Time / Life Management Using Rhythm, Inspiring to Shared Goals, Complex Problem Solving Through Simplicity, Energy for Personal and Practice Wellness)
  • review the evolution and current management of hip and knee osteoarthritis surgically, including new technology and minimally invasive techniques and apply as indicated for optimal results
  • review the salient findings and practice recommendations from the 2019 KP Registry publications regarding ACL reconstruction, hip fracture, shoulder arthroplasty and hip / knee arthroplasty  and translate into practice
  • implement quality, cost-savings initiatives, and the latest evidence-based medicine recommendations to influence practice behavior for each subspecialty
