The Cities United Young Leader Institute will engage leaders, 18 – 24 years old, interested in enhancing their skills and building a peer network of individuals committed to ensuring children grow up in safe, healthy and hopeful communities, while reducing the homicide and shooting rates of Black men and boys. Workshops will focus on Cities United’s approach to violence prevention, elevating youth voice, leadership development, and youth-adult partnerships. Young leaders from the Roadmap Academy Fellowship, Cities United partner cities, and local and national partners 18 – 24 years old are encouraged to participate.
