Speed. Adrenaline. Power. Control. These are the feelings of racing. At the track, an 8-minute qualifying session determines the driver order. Each driver competes in an 8-minute individual race. That outcome determines the 2-man teams that compete in a 20-minute team race. Drivers change after 10-minutes. The team completing the most laps determines the winner.
CAROWINDS AND BOOMERANG BAY
Prepare to feel the presence that will make your senses come alive with excitement - a presence that goes beyond
breathtaking views, beyond hair-raising adventures, beyond the intimidating world-class roller coasters like the Carolina Cyclone, Drop Tower, Nighthawk, the Intimidator and more. In addition, The Thrill Capital of the Southeast is excited to bring two new breathtaking water slides to Boomerang Bay for Summer 2014. The new slides will stand over 4 stories high and add 600+feet of sliding fun, bringing new thrills and splashes to the popular water park.
RACING TOUR AT CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY
We will head out to Charlotte Motor Speedway where you’ll be whisked away for a behind the scenes tour. See the Sprint Cup garage, infield hospital, and scoring tower. Guests will get to experience the thrill themselves when they are taken around the 1.5 mile track for a Victory Lap in a Pace Car. Pictures are taken in the Winners Circle following the lap.
