When I Grow Up: Planting Seeds of Financial Capability in Education Systems

Education systems present an ideal opportunity to start large numbers of youth thinking about their financial futures. This session will offer a set of examples of embedding financial capability and asset building strategies, such as financial education, bank at schools, Children’s Savings Accounts and Individual Development Accounts, into education platforms from elementary school through college. This session will also explore the policy implications for using education platforms as a path to scale.
