What's Next for Prepaid Cards

In recent years, prepaid cards have rapidly become an important piece of the financial access puzzle. In this session, a panel of experts will discuss recent research on prepaid products and grapple with a series of important questions, including: What does the emergence of a robust prepaid marketplace over the past few years mean for the asset-building field, particularly with regard to best practices for intermediaries’ application and use of these products for low-income consumers? What trends and lessons are emerging, and what are their implications in terms of next steps for the field?
