Mistakes to Success: Learning to Learn from Failure

Wednesday, September 17th, 2014
10:15 - 11:45 AM

Room: Howard

Explore ways that we can apply the concepts of emergent learning within our own organizations, creating cultures that intentionally learn from mistakes. Following up from an introductory webinar we had on this topic a couple months back, we’ll discuss foundational concepts and tools designed to help users take advantage of opportunities to discuss, analyze and truly learn when things go wrong. We’ll hear directly from practitioners who've begun to apply these concepts to their own work, and explore together suggested ways to begin to systematically turn mistakes into success across the facets of your work. Leave the session with the ability to incorporate simple practices into your work plans that will help you identify and build on the learning opportunities of past experiences, be more effective in the use of limited time and resources, and achieve greater levels of impact, faster. This session is made possible thanks to the generosity of the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
