Persons with disabilities face unique challenges advancing up the economic ladder. These challenges include limited financial resources, scarce employment opportunities and curbed access to financial education materials. This session will highlight key findings from the groundbreaking report, Financial Capability of Adults with Disabilities: Findings from the FINRA Investor Education Foundation 2012 National Financial Capability Study, and also highlight financial capability indicators for persons with disabilities in addition to strategies organizations can use to diversify their financial stability programs to better serve the disability community.
