There is an increasing spotlight on the use of check cashers and payday advances by low-income households every day. Some innovative organizations are building bridges to employers as avenues to provide and promote safer, more convenient financial products. This often includes providing a set of additional wrap-around services to help workers set financial goals, build or repair credit, or access other benefits. This, in turn, helps employers by increasing the productivity and decreasing absenteeism among their workers.
