2019 Orthopaedic Symposium
 
Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the symposium, the participants should be able to:

  1. Employ techniques to maximize efficiency and expand treatment, evidence-based techniques, while maintaining quality of care and patient outcomes (Triple Aim)
  1. Understand the workup and management of pediatric and adult orthopaedic patients with various shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee, foot/ankle, spine and general traumatic pathologies   
  1. Translate conclusions from published EBM studies integrated with clinician's expertise into best practice habits across all orthopaedic subspecialties to optimize quality of care
  1. TJR improve to :25% home recovery, PT appt w/in 24 hours, ALOS < 1 day past midnight
  1. Develop a comprehensive team approach to minimize time to surgery, promote early ambulation and prevent complications for pt population (fragility fx) CLC
