Course Outline:
A
two day course to better familiarise attendees with the manifestations and
management of rheumatology presentations in the foot and ankle. Sessions
include presentations on the various foot related systemic and mechanical
changes in rheumatic diseases. Diseases include Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis,
Psoriatic arthritis and Connective tissue diseases such as Systemic Sclerosis
and Lupus. In addition, there will be a large focus on interactive clinical
workshops addressing patient assessment and management techniques of the
pathologies discussed.

Highlight sessions include Foot anatomy and function, Surface anatomy workshop, Function and gait workshop, Seronegative, Patient assessment of psoriatic arthritis, Imaging the foot, Ultrasound and Injection therapy

Rheumatologists, rheumatology trainees, allied health professionals and GPw SIs.
