Prior to joining Cakebread Cellars, she worked for Securities America from 2007 to 2014 as the director of human resources and training. Cummings obtained her Bachelor's of Science in business administration with an emphasis in human resources from California State University, Chico and her Executive MBA from the University of Nebraska, Omaha in 2013.

Geraldine Flatt is the vice president of human resources and retail operations for Freixenet USA at Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards in Sonoma, overseeing the tasting room, events, wine club and e-commerce since 2011. Flatt has more than 20 years of experience in human resources, sales, marketing and accounting in the wine, technology and luxury wholesale distribution industries. She is a founding member of the HR Roundtable Committee for the wine country chapter of Women for WineSense, and served on the Board of PASCO (Personnel Association of Sonoma County—a 300-member non-profit organization) from 1997 until 2002, and was president in 2000. She has also been a steering committee board member since 2003 of the Western Management Compensation Group.

Linda Higueras is a human resources professional with 30 years of experience in employee relations, performance management, succession planning, outplacement, recruitment, training, diversity, employee engagement and conflict resolution. She is fluent in Spanish and has an in-depth understanding of cross-cultural issues in the workplace. Since 2003, Higueras has been employed in the wine industry for E&J Gallo, Jackson Family Wines, Silver Oak and Twomey Cellars, and Williams Selyem. Her scope of responsibilities has included bilingual communications, union avoidance and negotiations, harassment prevention training, FLC liaison and compliance monitoring, and employee relations investigations.

Eric Jorgensen, Publisher, has worked at Wine Business Monthly for more than 14 years. Prior to Wine Business Monthly he worked in the technology industry. Most recently, he was Vice President and General Manager of Messaging and Community for Excite@Home, where he joined in the company's infancy and remained through its IPO and merger. Before Excite, Jorgensen held management and finance positions at Taligent and Apple Computer. Jorgensen graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a BA in economics and holds a MBA from Wharton.

Previously, Kurkoski led community management for Excite@Home and consulted with nonprofit organizations on leadership development. Kurkoski holds a Ph.D. in business administration (organizational behavior) from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.

Like the wine industry, the pharmacy/grocery industry is a small community that is tight-knit. That, partnered with Rodrigue's passion for wine, makes him feel right at home in the wine world.

Prior to joining Western Management Group in 2000, Steve Treder was the worldwide sales compensation manager for Hewlett-Packard, and held senior compensation and human resources positions in the high technology industry for nearly 20 years. Treder holds a master’s degree from Stanford University, and a bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University, both in the field of sociology.
