Learning Objectives






1. Utilize the new Guidelines in diagnosis and treatment of Hypertension. *
2. Use appropriate out of office BP methodologies to improve patient outcomes. *
3. Apply techniques and tools to assist with communication to narrow the disparity gap in African American hypertensives. *
4. Identify causes of resistant hypertension and use necessary treatments. *
  5. Communicate different lifestyle interventions to hypertensive patients that will support.

Secondary Target Group: Physicians in all other specialties (except: anesthesiology, HNS, pathology, pediatrics, plastic surgery, radiology, radiation oncology), Advance Practice Providers and RNs in all specialties above, and PharmDs
