2018 Family Medicine Symposium

WELCOME!

We invite you to join us for this comprehensive, informative, collegial, and practical symposium, designed with your needs in mind. Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to learn, connect, and refresh!

The agenda is structured around Lifestyle Medicine, Primary Care Workup Challenges, Pain Management, Psychosocial Issues, and Efficiencies. With 17 sessions, you’ll have opportunities to learn skills that address the underlying causes of many chronic illnesses, ways to influence behavior change, current approaches in population care, brush up on stat x-ray interpretation, explore pain management strategies and alternative approaches, improve depression care, buff up key HealthConnect tools for Primary Care, and discover practical tips for other hot topics in Family Practice. You’ll also have an opportunity to support resident scholarly work during the poster session.

Highly interactive formats will give you opportunities to exchange ideas, discuss your cases ask questions for expert feedback, and get hands-on practice in simulation workshops.

Several networking opportunities allow participants to meet new colleagues, reconnect with friends from other service areas, and return to practice with renewed confidence and inspiration.

On Saturday, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet ABFM Maintenance of Certification Part II Knowledge Self-Assessment (KSA) requirements.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!
