Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the symposium, the participants should be able to:
  1. Identify patients who need thyroid surgery, order indicated diagnostic tests and interpret these tests to develop optimal treatment plans

  2. Identify pertinent surgical anatomy of the head and neck in order to minimize complications and optimize surgical outcome

  3. Apply new diagnostic treatment and diagnostic tests in the management of common rhinological disorders

  4. Assess their individual practices and identify specific strategies to implement as part of a continuing improvement process for their practice
