2016 ACS Finance Symposium

2016 ACS Finance Symposium

Aged & Community Services NSW & ACT (ACS) is hosting a one day Finance Symposium.

The reform process rolls on unabated. It is now over a year since the changes to accommodation pricing in residential aged care and home care providers have been operating under the consumer directed care methodology for nearly 12 months. February 2017 brings some significant changes in how the Home Care Market will operate in the future and provide a window into the future of a more open market in residential care. These reforms continue to challenge service providers and most have had to undergo significant changes to business models and systems to both meet the challenges of the reforms that have occurred but also to prepare for the reforms to come.

This Symposium is designed to address both the financial and business changes needed and experienced by providers. Presentations will include practical information on the financial aspects of the reforms to help providers ensure they can deliver quality services in a financially viable and sustainable way. The Symposium is designed to benefit all not-for-profit aged care providers, recognising the unique challenges of all parts of your portfolio – residential, community and retirement living. Topics will be of interest to directors, CEOs, CFOs, finance managers, accountants, administration staff, directors of care, business development managers and service manager.

This Symposium will explore the current and future direction of finance issues in the sector.

We invite you to join us in exploring this essential and rapidly changing aspect of our sector.
