TOUR 2: The Trickle Down Effect: What Adelaide's Riverbank Precinct is and can be

DESCRIPTION: Riverbank focus from Hackney Rd to Port Rd capturing redevelopment of Bonython Park, water and vegetation management of the river environment, NRAH, Riverbank Authority & Festival Plaza, Adelaide Zoo and Botanic Gardens. Potential to include SAMHRI building.
LEARNING OUTCOMES: Master planning, private investment as a catalyst for change of public space, activation of public space through temporary measures, management of riparian environments and using greenscape to enhance wellbeing

TOUR 3: Playford Alive: An urban renewal and sporting hub development
STREAM: Health and wellbeing, disadvantaged communities, place making, water management, community development, community engagement
DESCRIPTION: Focused on Playford Alive, a major urban renewal project of 1,000 ha including 500 ha of new development and 70 ha of open space in the heart of a low socio economic community, it has a strong community development and engagement philosphy, with a new town park opened in 2015 encompassing a range of community recreation facilities. Potential to also visit Greenfields Wetlands (114 ha urban wetland). Will also focus on the sports facility planning and budget commitment made by council to the delivery of a $50 million master plan that includes relocation of sporting facilities and the attraction of an A League club to the area

TOUR 5:The ARC Campbelltown - From Concept to Reality
DESCRIPTION: Join the ARC Campbelltown staff on an insightful tour of the brand new $26M aquatic and recreation centre in Adelaide's North Eastern suburbs. Learn about the innovative and flexible multi-use design that is maximising opportunities for a wide range of sports and community groups to use the venue. The tour will also show delegates the various business units within the venue and the rationale behind Campbelltown City Council operating each business unit in-house.
LEARNING OUTCOMES: How a flexible and multi-use venue design is helping to maximise community use and create revenue generating opportunities for Campbelltown City Council. Financial modelling and analysis of each business unit to determine optimal operating model and structure.
