JUDGING CRITERIA

Explain in a maximum of 1000 words why you think that your business should win the Award, giving supporting examples and evidence to illustrate your answer. Please ensure that you have carefully read the judging criteria for your chosen category (see below) and that your answer covers each of the points outlined.  Please submit any supporting material together with your entry form.

You will need to complete a separate entry form for each category that you wish to enter.

Please note that the judging period is from 1 March 2015 – 1 March 2016.

Affiliate marketing campaign

This award is designed to reward any entrepreneurial marketing initiative and/or innovative new product or brand development that demonstrated new thinking and which can boast significant success.

Key criteria include:

  • Commercial success and business growth
  • Sales/market share figures
  • Description of how market responded to the idea
  • Description of future development possibilities

Best native app

The award will go to the operator that can demonstrate it has developed a market-leading native app over the course of the past 12 months. Entries can be from any vertical (sportsbook, poker, casino and bingo) and judges will be looking for evidence of innovation, strength of product, revenue growth and customer acquisition.

Key criteria include:

  • Commercial success
  • Differentiation and originality of product(s)
  • Quality of customer experience
  • Innovation in helping set offering apart from competitors
  • Brand strength

Best omni-channel solution

The award will go to the operator that can demonstrate the most successful and innovative approach to creating a multi-channel product offering. This can apply to examples where the product is across smartphone, tablet and desktop devices, as well as across online and offline, and will focus on quality of customer experience and commercial success.

Key criteria include:

  • Commercial success of the solution
  • Differentiation and originality of product(s)
  • Quality of customer experience
  • Innovation in helping set offering apart from competitors
  • Multi-channel branding

Bingo marketing campaign

This award is designed to reward marketing initiative(s) that have achieved significant commercial success in the previous 12 months and/or achieved major brand development. The judges will be looking for creativity, originality and quality of execution.

Key criteria include:

  • Commercial success and business growth
  • Originality and creativity
  • Direct results of marketing campaign in terms of traffic, revenue etc
  • Demonstration of achieving core objectives and enhancing brand values
  • Future development possibilities

Brand of the year

The award will be presented to the company that is able to demonstrate the strongest and most consistent brand message in the last 12 months across one or more of the main product verticals. The judges will look for share of voice, potential for future growth, success of overall marketing aims and objectives, integrated marketing campaigns and commercial success. Particular attention will be paid to originality and creativity.

Casino marketing campaign

This award is designed to reward marketing initiative(s) that have achieved significant commercial success in the previous 12 months and/or achieved major brand development. The judges will be looking for creativity, originality and quality of execution.

Key criteria include:

  • Commercial success and business growth
  • Originality and creativity
  • Direct results of marketing campaign in terms of traffic, revenue etc
  • Demonstration of achieving core objectives and enhancing brand values
  • Future development possibilities

CRM campaign

The award will go to the operator that can demonstrate the most innovation in CRM through product, marketing, technology and/or overall growth.

Key criteria include:

  • Commercial success and business growth
  • Sales/market share figures
  • Acquisition and retention figures as a result of innovation
  • Description of how market responded to the idea

Innovation in bingo

The award will go to the operator that can demonstrate the most innovation in bingo through product, marketing and/or technology.

Key criteria include:

Commercial success and business growth

  • Sales/market share figures
  • Use of innovation in on and offline marketing; customer acquisition and retention strategies
  • Ability to demonstrate strong product(s) with a large customer base, effective marketing strategy, and a vibrant online community

Innovation in casino

The award will go to the operator that can demonstrate the most innovation in casino through product, marketing, and/or technology.

Key criteria include:

  • Commercial success and business growth
  • Sales/market share figures
  • Differentiation and originality of product(s)
  • Brand strength
  • Innovation in helping set offering apart from competitors

Innovation in mobile and tablet

The award will go to the operator that can demonstrate the most innovation in mobile across any of the main verticals in gaming through product, marketing, and/or technology.

Key criteria include:

  • Commercial success and business growth
  • Sales/market share figures
  • Differentiation and originality of product(s), marketing and technology
  • Brand strength
  • Innovation in helping set offering apart from competitors

Innovation in poker

The award will go to the operator that can demonstrate the most innovation in poker through product, marketing, and/or technology.

Key criteria include:

  • Sales/market share figures
  • Differentiation and originality of product(s), marketing and technology
  • Brand strength
  • Innovation in helping set offering apart from competitors

Innovation in social casino

The award will go to the operator that can demonstrate the most innovation in social casino through product, marketing, and/or technology.

Key criteria include:

  • Innovative use of gaming mechanics
  • Quality and differentiation of product(s)
  • Ability to demonstrate player acquisition and retention and a high conversion rate
  • Innovative use of marketing channels to drive growth

Innovation in sports betting

The award will go to the operator that can demonstrate the most innovation in sports betting through product, marketing, and/or technology.

Key criteria include:

  • Commercial success and business growth
  • Sales/market share figures
  • Differentiation, originality and innovation in product(s), marketing and technology
  • Brand strength
  • Innovation in helping set offering apart from competitors

Innovation of the year

The award will be presented to the company that is able to demonstrate the most impressive and business changing innovation of the last 12 months across one or more of the main product verticals, sectors, marketing and/or technology – in particular judges will look for an idea, product or technology that has delivered business growth, additional revenue and profitability for the operator in question over the course of the last 12 months.

Innovative start-up

The award will be presented to the start-up (three years old or less) that is able to demonstrate the most impressive and business changing innovation of the last 12 months across all product verticals, sectors, marketing and/or technology or overall business growth.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS CATEGORY IS ONLY OPEN TO COMPANIES THAT HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR THREE YEARS OR LESS AND HAVE NOT PREVIOUSLY WON THIS CATEGORY.

Mobile marketing campaign

The award will go to the operator that can demonstrate the most successful and innovative marketing campaign across its mobile channels. The judges will be looking for creativity, originality and quality of execution as well as proof of ROI.

  • Originality and creativity
  • Direct results of marketing campaign in terms of traffic, revenue etc

Poker marketing campaign

This award is designed to reward marketing initiative(s) that have achieved significant commercial success in the previous 12 months and/or achieved major brand development.  The judges will be looking for creativity, originality and quality of execution.
