| Dr. Rehab Faraj Al Ameri MD, MSc, MQM and CIPT. Chairman of the Conference Senior Specialist and Quality Expert of Conformity Assessment Body Services (CABS), - Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council Dr. Rehab is the senior specialist of Conformity Assessment Body Services at Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, responsible for controlling, regulating and setting up strategies and criteria for Abu Dhabi conformity assessment bodies to ensure their competency and improving their quality performance that allow them to get international recognition. Before that Dr. Rehab spent her carrier life of 11 years in military, worked as an officer Gastroenterologist at Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi until reached rank ‘Major”. In 2006-2009 worked as Gastroenterologist in Royal London and Barth Hospital in London, during that time she earned her MSc in clinical gastroenterology and reworded with higher distinction from Queen Marry University London-UK. She was a board member of Emirates medical association, Abu Dhabi, UAE 2002-2006. Dr. Rehab holding a Master degree in Quality Management (MQM) and became first UAE national lead assessor approved by Emirate Standardization and Metrology Authority (ESMA) accreditation team. Eng. Sahar is a
holder of B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering; with more than 13 years of
experience in Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies, Business Process
Re-engineering, Organizational Development and Excellence in Jordan and in
UAE. She was the Head of the Accreditation Section in the Jordanian
Accreditation Unit. She is an approved lead assessor on ISO 15189, ISO/IEC 17025 and 17020 by many accreditation bodies, as well as a trainer on these standards. She has ample knowledge and understanding of laboratories' accreditation requirements and practices. Currently, she is a Chief Management Consultant and Certified EFQM Assessor; where she develops and provides customized quality, accreditation, excellence, and business process re-engineering solutions and training for clients.
