Panel Discussion - Management Innovation in the New World

The last decade saw the “BRICs” and other emerging economies make their mark on the global economic landscape. Companies in the new world, historically associated with cheap labour, are now becoming leaders in innovation, notably in terms of business models and managerial practices. Those emerging market multinationals are proving to be highly competitive, increasingly global and quite distinctive in their management ideas. Women are at the forefront of many of the corporations driving this change.
  • What innovative managerial practices are being developed in emerging markets?
  • What should the world learn from women’s leadership in the new world?
  • How are those emerging markets overcoming cultural and educational constraints to harness women power?
