Fundamentals, skills, and techniques covered:
• Forming clay in an organic manner
  • How to use Inca gold, alcohol inks and acrylics on polymer
  • Make a crackle effect on polymer
 • How to properly seal your work
 • Make a leather necklace for your pendant

Learn to make your own "stone " amulet using white polymer clay. You will learn to form your own personal stone like amulet using minimal tools. This class also teaches how to use Inca Gold, alcohol inks and acrylic to create a bright, yet aged look to your piece. To finish it up, you will use a crackle effect on your pieces and learn how to properly seal your beads. When the beads are all done, it will be made into a leather necklace using leather and wire- custom made for you by you! You WILL complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Some wire wrapping skills are helpful

Materials you are required to bring:
Polymer work surface (a tile, or plastic cutting board), needle tool, paint brush (1" flat or medium/ large round brush), wire cutters, round nose pliers, chain nose pliers
