Technique: Bead Weaving

Fundamentals, skills, and techniques covered:
• How to make flat herringbone strips
  • How to build a beaded curb chain linked necklace
  • How to attach clasp

This single or double curb chain link style necklace is a great way to learn how to work with seed beads. The technique is easy to master. It is easy to make both the single and double link chain, and the finished necklace can be made any length you desire. You WILL NOT complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/Skills Needed: Some bead weaving experience is helpful.

Materials you are required to bring:
Size 11 or 12 beading needles, thread conditioner, scissors
