CIO’s Hall of
Fame celebrates outstanding achievement in information technology, honoring the
men and women whose work has profoundly shaped today’s business landscape.
The nomination process is now open until February 1, 2016.
Previous
successful nominees have been current CIOs with at least 10-15 years'
experience in CIO positions at midsized to large enterprises. Along with
significant accomplishments in the field of IT, Hall of Fame members have all demonstrated
substantial business impact and technology vision within one or more organizations.
They have a reputation for leadership among their peers (or outside entities
such as the media or industry experts) and have shown a positive influence on
the IT profession and/or advancement of the CIO role.

To apply,
candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else. The final application form includes
short essay questions about past work experience, leadership accomplishments,
awards and references.
Nominees are vetted in a two-step process, beginning with an internal review by CIO to ensure they meet the basic criteria
for the award (such as 10-15 years’ experience in CIO positions). Please select the "Nominate" button to fill out a brief form we will use for this first step.
Those who meet the award criteria will
receive a link to the award application. To

The second step is the review of the
completed application by our judging board of Hall of Fame alumni members, who make
the final selection of new members by April 1, 2016.
