NH-ISAC 2015 Fall Summit

NH-ISAC and A-ISAC Fall Summit 2015

After much waiting and planning, The National Health Information Sharing & Analysis Center (NH-ISAC)  and Aviation Information Sharing & Analysis Center (A-ISAC) is pleased to announce it's upcoming Fall Summit.

Healthcare continues to be the target of malicious attacks as well as suffering from clever social engineering attacks gained through the behavior of inattentive or non-compliant employees. 3rd party risk mitigation has become a significant issue as vendors become key players in the Healthcare Cyber Security supply chain. We need to address this additional risk as we grow the offering for our patients with the services we provide.

Every day thousands of Wi-Fi seeking smart phones and iPads enter our healthcare ecosphere...capable of being compromised in some form.

Friday July 31 saw the FDA submit a cease and desist memo for all Hospitals, Hospice centers and Nursing Homes across the country to stop using a specific infusion pump-device, fearing it had become compromised. The order was severe. Stop using brand A and use any brand B-Z that is not compromised.

Devices using the main hosts WiFi network have become increasingly vulnerable.

You work on the Bleeding edge. How do we secure our patient's PHI data in this shifting arena?

We Talk. We Share. We Network. Join us to network with the best practitioners, who are also your peers in the Healthcare Cyber Security.

Healthcare Cyber Security Summit

Come to Henderson, NV November 11-13, and meet your peers
who are experiencing the same issues and seeking the same answers.

Beyond the obvious need to share and increase the resiliency of our sector there is also the day to day business issues we need to deal with constantly.

Can a security team gain traction while battling with other departments for IT budgets? If there is a breach who gets blamed? Is "Not having enough resources" good enough? A constant theme is juggling needs with budgets and corporate strategies.

Come and hear new ideas and strategies that you may be able to apply back in your shop.
