CBE4CC - an invitation-only conference for community colleges across the nation interested in best practices, lessons learned and practical tools to implement competency-based education (CBE).
Learn from the Community College CBE pioneers who adapted the Western Governors University model:
- What are the possibilities and challenges?
- How is it different from what you are doing now?
- How can you adapt?
- What do employers and students think of CBE?
For the first time, the Community College CBE pioneers and Western Governors University will gather to answer these questions and more, at the CBE4CC National Conference, June 4-6, near Denver, Colorado.
Whether you're piloting your own CBE program or ready to start, you and your team will have the opportunity to explore:
- Understanding your community: aligning curriculum, courses and programs with employer needs
- New models for academics: module-based learning, acknowledging prior learning, replicable course models, and more
- Supporting students in new ways: leveraging technology, faculty-staff partnerships, and data to increase student engagement and success
- Starting the campus conversation and delivering a CBE program within traditional college systems
Sessions will focus on practical, adaptable steps, and lots of opportunities for interaction with peers.
Registration Instructions
There are two parts to completing registration for each attendee: the first is to register and the second to make hotel room reservations.
