Enthought Welcome to SciPy ReceptionEnthought SciPy Welcome Reception

Join us as we close out the SciPy tutorial sessions and kick off the main conference. Get a great view of downtown Austin from the 21st floor and enjoy a casual opportunity to chat and meet tutorial and conference attendees over heavy appetizers and beverages.


Annual Reception and Job Fair

Location: AT&T Conference Center - Grand Ballroom and Foyer

There will be heavy hors d'oevres and a cash bar. We will also be hosting a Job Fair in the foyer of the ballroom where you can meet our participating sponsor companies.

SciPy Diversity Luncheon

Location: El Mercado, 1702 Lavaca Street (About 4 blocks from the conference)
Cost: $12, sign up when you register for the conference


Lady Bird Lake Riverboat CruiseLone Star Lake Riverboat Cruise 

Date: Thursday July 9, 2015, 7:00-9:30 PM 
Cost: $25, sign up when you register for the conference

Please join us for a delightful riverboat cruise around Lady Bird Lake to see the sights of downtown Austin. We will sail by the Congress Street Bridge at sunset to witness the spectacular emergence of the world famous Mexican free-tailed bats. Additional details may be found at: http://lonestarriverboat.com. The dock is just under two miles from the conference center. We will have groups heading over together via public transportation. Please meet by the registration desk at 6:30 pm if you wish to join the group.  The boat will have very light snacks and a cash non-alcoholic bar. You are welcome to bring food, if you wish.
