2015 ACS ACT Conference

2015 ACT Conference

Join ACS NSW & ACT in Canberra for our two day conference exploring a range of topics including financial implications and opportunities, aged care reforms and future directions for aged care.

Day One is our dedicated Finance forum – a must for Directors, CEOs, CFOs, finance managers, accountants, administration staff, directors of care and business development managers.

The aged care reforms require significant change to both business and financial strategies for aged and community care providers. This Forum addresses current economic conditions, financial considerations for providers, financial implications flowing from the reforms and opportunities for new ways of structuring your business.

Day Two of the program, Aged Care in Practice - is a must for CEO's, facility and service managers, financial and operational staff from retirement villages, residential care and home care services.

Day two provides up to the minute feedback from DSS about the current reforms, an update on changing patterns of respite and palliation, a focus on planning and the DSS and Health interface in the ACT, essential learnings from the Quakers Hill Coronial Inquest,  the benefits of a person centred approach at the time of admission into care and innovation from the new Primary Health Network.

Join us for networking drinks at the end of Day 1 which will  provide opportunity to relax, catch up with friends and nurture new working relationships.
