All educational sessions, lectures, meetings, and events will be held at the Henry B. González Convention Center and the Grand Hyatt San Antonio Hotel.

Please know that the educational sessions may change prior to start of conference. You will be notified if changes affect your Workshop schedule directly. 


FULL REGISTRATION

Registration is $375 (U.S.) for IAI members and $475 for nonmembers. Workshops are additional and charged individually, amounts are included on the workshop registration page. Lectures are open to all attendees. 

Full registration includes: all conference materials; the Sunday President’s Reception; Exhibit Grand-Opening Reception; Tuesday-night Poster Presentation/Photo Contest and Reception; Wednesday evening Forensic Networking Social; as well as the Friday-night Installation and Closing Banquet. (Note: receptions are not full meals)The full registration DOES NOT include workshops that require an additional fee, hotel accommodations, or travel.

 

DAILY REGISTRATION

Daily registration is $130/day and the registrants will receive only the non-fee educational sessions (lectures) for that day, and entrance to Exhibit. Workshops are additional. All Lectures are open to all attendees. 

 

STUDENT REGISTRATION

Student registration is $195. To qualify as a Student Registrant, individuals must be full-time college students, with a major in forensic science-related field or law enforcement, taking 12 or more semester hours/credits or the equivalent in quarter hours/credits for undergraduate study and at least 9 semester hours/credits or the equivalent in quarter hours/credits for graduate study. Students must provide a letter or transcript from their educational institution stating the number of credits currently being taken. The words “full-time student” will not suffice.

A Student Registrant receives all benefits of the Full Registration with the exception of the Friday night Banquet (tickets may be purchased separately for that event). Students may go to any available class or workshop that interests them, however workshops may have additional fees attached.

SOCIAL REGISTRATION

A Social Registration is for the Spouse/Guest of a regular registrant. The registration fee is $200 and includes the Sunday President’s Reception, Monday exhibit grand opening Reception; Tuesday-Night Poster Presentation/Photo Contest and Reception; and the Friday-night Installation Banquet.

 

FIRST-TIME ATTENDEES

At this “Invitation-Only” Event, First-time Attendees of the Conference will have an opportunity to meet the Conference Staff as well as their fellow first–time attendees on Sunday, July 29th at a Special Reception sponsored by TriTech Forensics. This is your chance to ask questions about what to expect during the week as well as build contacts and meet people that you’ll be seeing during the week.

 

Professional Expert/Conference Training 

Please be advised that although attendance at the IAI Conference is a valuable professional experience, it does not alone qualify attendees as experts. Attendees are advised to adhere to the accepted professional training standards related to their discipline and country to ascertain applicable requirements.

 

Recording Policy
It is the policy of the IAI that recording by means intended to capture images, video, audio, or a combination thereof of any lecture, workshop, or other IAI sanctioned proceeding shall be prohibited without the expressed written consent of the IAI.  All requests shall be made in writing and forwarded to the Chief Operating Officer for consideration by the President, Chairman of the Board and/or Board of Directors.  This policy is in no way intended to prevent the occasional photograph that may be taken during the course of a presentation provided that the instructor has given approval prior to such photograph being taken.
