PLA Awards 2015
 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.    You must meet all criteria to be eligible to enter:
   • All nominators must be active individual members, corporate members or representatives of corporate members
   • Nominators may nominate their own organisation/ person/ project of a third party known to them for all awards with the exception of the Frank Stewart Distinguished Service Award
   • Candidates for the Frank Stewart Distinguished Service Award can only be nominated by a third party (PLA member)

2.   The Awards of Excellence ("Awards") are conducted by Parks and Leisure Australia ABN 23 083 489 463 of Level 2, 207 The Parade, Norwood, South Australia, SA 5067

3.   By submitting an entry to the Awards you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Instructions on how to enter the Awards are set out on the Awards website.

4.   All Organisational Award entries must be submitted online by midnight Australian Central Standard Time on Monday 16th March, 2015

5.   Parks and Leisure Australia reserves the right to declare any entrant ineligible if, in the reasonable opinion of Parks and Leisure Australia:
   • you are considered unable to represent or promote the Awards in a satisfactory manner;
   • you have not complied with these Terms and Conditions,
   • the entry form is incomplete; or
   • information provided by you is deficient, false or misleading in any way.

6.    All Regional Winners of the Organisational Awards automatically become national finalists and go into the national round of judging. National winners of the Organisational Awards are announced at the Parks and Leisure Australia Awards of Excellence held at the Dockside Pavilion, Cockle Bay Wharf, 28th October, 2015.

7.    The Individual Awards are awarded only at a national level and the three (3) awards have eligibility, submission requirements and judging criteria different for each, as set out on the Awards website. The winners of the Individual Awards will be announced at the Parks and Leisure Australia Awards of Excellence held at the Dockside Pavilion, Cockle Bay Wharf, 28th October, 2015

8.    By entering the Awards you agree to allow Parks and Leisure Australia to contact you to provide comments about the Awards and to take photos or video footage of you ("Entrant Commentary") in connection with your entry and the Awards.

9.    During and after the Awards, Parks and Leisure Australia may, without compensation use your organisation’s identity, (details about your organisation/company and logo); your entry form and any other materials supplied by you in connection with your entry to the Awards or the promotion of the Awards; and your Entrant Commentary and any Finalist Images and Winner Images, anywhere in the world in any advertisement and/or other material in any media or medium to promote the Awards or for any other incidental purpose.

10.  In order to give effect, you grant Parks and Leisure Australia a sub-licensable, world-wide, royalty free, perpetual licence to exercise all rights to the Materials and, to the extent required.

11.   Please do not include any information you need returned or you do not wish to be published.

12.   All information received remains the property of Parks and Leisure Australia.

13.   Should the respective judging panel believe that no nomination meets the criteria or standard of excellence required, It will not be obliged to confer the particular award.

14.     At any time during the Term, Parks and Leisure Australia reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

15.    The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

16.    Parks and Leisure Australia accepts no responsibility for entry submissions not received by Parks and Leisure Australia for any reason.

17.    Parks and Leisure Australia, in their sole discretion, have the right to alter or cancel part or all of the Awards at any time.

18.    To the extent permitted by law, Parks and Leisure Australia will not be liable for and expressly excludes liability for any loss, injury or damage which results directly or indirectly from the Awards, including the breach of any third party intellectual property rights.
