7th Annual Michigan College Access Network Conference





MCAN is utilizing a new platform to collect and review RFPs. To submit a breakout session proposal, please create an account below and follow the instructions. Once you create an account, you can save and return to your proposal at any time before officially submitting.

Topics
The review committee is interested in engaging presentations on the role of LCANs, community leaders, educators and college access professionals as champions for college-attainment strategies. The conference theme will emphasize the importance of prioritizing college attainment in Michigan in order to advocate for our students' success. Sessions offered at the conference should be applicable to the intended audience of practitioners, community organizers, and college access leaders.

Format and Schedule
Breakout sessions for the MCAN Conference will be one hour and 15 minutes including appropriate time for questions.

Room Set Up
Presenters will be expected to bring their own computers. You will be asked to indicate in the form the type of equipment your session will require. Please understand that you may be responsible to pay for any fees associated with renting additional equipment not requested in your proposal.

Criteria for Evaluation and Selection
Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of potential impact of intervention/strategy, scalability, timeliness, clarity, and interest to the intended audience.

Notification Date
Presenters will be notified via email of proposal acceptance with time and location of presentation by Friday, January 6th, 2017.
