GUIDE SHEET FOR PRESENTATION APPLICATION:

Thanks for your interest in being part of iCAAD 2018.

To make it easier for you here are some facts and guidelines about the direction of the conference and what we are looking for in terms of presentations, panels and workshops.

iCAAD  is a platform dedicated to expanding knowledge, exchanging ideas and advancing the prevention and treatment of Behavioural, Mental and Emotional health issues.

The events will focus on research findings, knowledge distribution and the acquisition of skills that can be applied in day-to-day practice.

We are looking for cutting edge research, hot topics and emerging treatment methods.

Presentations must have distinct conclusions and end results with signposts as to how the subject matter can explored further or how the conclusions can be actioned.

Panels must be more than a presentation of differing opinions, the focus needs to be on progress.

Workshops must provide take away skills and concepts with access to further information and educational opportunities.

We have broken down our areas of coverage into 4 streams:

Stream 1 - Business

A new era means equipping ourselves with refreshed skill sets to meet changing demands.

Engaging presentations focusing on ‘emotional intelligence’ and a ‘better self’ approach.

Stream 3 Therapeutic Models

As treatment evolves, new and rejuvenated models are emerging.

A variety of workshops and presentations across a range of therapeutic models that will offer new tools for professionals in practice.

From treatment models motivating initial change to the workshops and resources required for relapse prevention.

The workshops will provide an insight and better understanding of new and established modalities used in treating substance abuse and relapse prevention.

This stream presents information around essential elements such as nutrition, physical wellbeing, life skills and spiritual exploration.

Conventional and non-conventional medicine and practices will be examined.
